Bhagavad Gita 3. 18, which reads:
"tattva-vit tu, mahabaho giwa-karma-vibhagayo/i |
'guna guneshu vartante' | iti matva na sajjate. |
"tattva-vit tu, mahabaho giwa-karma-vibhagayo/i |
He who knows the tattvas does not cling to the two distinctions of the guwas and actions.
'guna guneshu vartante' | iti matva na sajjate. |
Guna behave as per his characteristics and knowing this atman is aloof and simply observer to it.
